Tour Highlights
Akrotiri Ancient City
Patiently waiting for centuries to be unearthed, the city of Akrotiri finally came to light in 1967. The bronze age settlement thrived for more than 600 years, before the massive Theran eruption sealed it under thick layers of ash, sometime in the 16th century BC.
Remarkably well-preserved, frescoes, pottery and furniture, advanced drainage systems and three -story buildings stand still in time, waiting to be once again appreciated by modern day visitors.
Megalochori
An emblematic bell-tower archway welcomes visitors in Megalochori, framing the entrance of this charming traditional settlement! A brilliant example of Cycladic architecture, Megalochori enchants its visitors with the maze of narrow cobblestone alleys, time-honored churches and white-washed houses. The village picturesque square is the ideal ambience to enjoy a glass of cold, home-made lemonade or some Greek meze and ouzo, and enjoy the company of the locals.
Perivolos & Perissa
Famous for being the most bustling spot in Santorini, the huge beach of Perivolos and Perissa, stretches 7km on the coastline, well-known for its volcanic black sand and deep, crystal-clear water. Perfect for spending the day under the Greek sun, Perivolos and Perissa simply have it all: restaurants, beach clubs, shops, water sports, even night clubs!
Wine Museum
It took the Koutsogiannopoulos family 21 years of hard work, to restore this old “canava” and transform it into a living book of the local winemaking history. Take a glimpse of the past, in this one-of-a-kind museum hidden deep underground and wander its 300m of natural maze-like corridors exhibiting the labor of the past.
Oia
One of the most photographed settlements worldwide, Oia holds the key to romance…Gracefully balancing on steep slope, with its marble paved streets right at the edge of the rim, it feels mesmerizing during sunset time. Stroll around this small, picturesque village and feel the vibes of a place nourished by the bright summer sun and the Aegean breeze.
